			We all know about Manga being turned into anime and all that frankly it gets boring hearing about that because no one knows of an anime that’s opposite. Well, here’s the exception. Bastard was originally drawn up as a Manga in the late 1980's, it was really bad and no one liked it. After the actual six-episode Anime miniseries was shown to Japanese public in 1991, they went Bastard crazy; hence the reason to review the entire miniseries in one review. Dark Snyder is a Demon who lives within a boy. Well, this boy is part of royalty and he has a sister. They go on adventures and are always being picked on. Well with luck, dark Snyder is angrily awakened at times of need to beat anyone to a pulp. Let’s not forget Dark Snyder's ways of the girl, he loves his women and always needs a little piece when woken up. The story develops and the castle is taken siege. There is this scene of one of Snyder's girlfriends being dragged down this ramp and gets acid on her, making her clothes deteriorate. You… get the point. Dark Snyder eventually kills the guy that’s making the ruckus; however, someone else comes to take over the castle. It is this freaking fat bat-like vampire that looks like “Dani Filth”. None the less the story’s very interesting. While ripping off the clothes of his three concubines {that are actually members of the castle's royalty} he sucks their blood. The best line in anime that makes me laugh the whole day is when he sucks one of the girls blood and he goes blah! You’re not a virgin! Then he throws her on the ground and that’s it. Man I love that. As you can tell Bastard is supposed to be mixed with humor and action. Believe it or not this is as far as I can go before the ending comes, it is just that short. Analysis Bastard is not for the weak of stomach that’s for sure. It’s for anyone that likes a mix of Excel Saga and Ronin Warriors. I can’t explain the real genre because it’s everything you want to see in an Anime. It is an older style anime so I naturally favor it. I don’t know, I just like old style anime. This comes from the makers of Ronin Warriors and it will live on forever. Audio: C- That’s the only thing bad about the anime Animation: A Dub: C self-explanatory Japanese: A Replay value: B+ Pluses: Great humor, I’m mean Dark Snyder lol Minuses: Once and a great while art is horrible, the voice actors plain suck Overall- B
